ISK-SODEX 2016 opens its doors in May with many new highlights

Eurovent, ISKID, and REHVA join forces to bring latest innovation and research to one of the world’s major HVACR events / ISKID and Eurovent to host ‘global industry reception’

Istanbul, 11 April 2016. The upcoming ISK-SODEX (4-7 May 2016) in Istanbul will offer many new highlights to its more than 80.000 expected visitors, including an ISKID/Eurovent ‘Global Industry Reception’ (4 May), and a ‘Sustainable Indoor Climate Conference’ (5 May). For the latter, Eurovent, ISKID[1], and REHVA[2] team up to provide a dedicated session on the latest innovation and research in the area of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain technologies.

ISK-SODEX is one of the most important events of our sector with on average 1.300 exhibitors. It is being organised by Deutsche Messe[3] in close cooperation with Turkish Eurovent member ISKID, TTMD, ISKAV and others. For the first time, the show will see a seminar programme titled ‘Sustainable Indoor Climate Conference’ following this year’s exhibition theme. A dedicated session by Eurovent, ISKID, and REHVA will cover issues such as indoor environmental quality, heat recovery in ventilation units, evaporative cooling equipment, and measuring technologies.

Mr Morten Schmelzer, International Director of Eurovent, stated in this respect: ‘Since its beginning, Turkish Eurovent members have supported the establishment and development of ISK-SODEX. Nowadays, it is being regarded as the key exhibition for the wider region, and Turkish manufacturers have become an essential part of our association and the global industry. We are proud to strengthen this partnership even further by contributing to this year’s ISK-SODEX with dedicated seminar and by supporting ISKID in hosting a Global Industry Reception.’

The Eurovent association will be present with a lounge at this year’s ISK-SODEX (Hall 2-5, Main Foyer, Booth 27). The ISKID/Eurovent ‘Global Industry Reception’ on 4 May is going to welcome more than 100 leading representatives of the HVACR sector from Turkey, Europe, Asia and around the world for a get-together in the Main Foyer. Further details are going to be published over the next couple of weeks on the new Eurovent homepage.
