Refrigera is a brand-new exhibition located at Piacenza Expo, taking place from 20 to 22 February 2019, and is targeted exclusively at professionals in the industrial and commercial field of the refrigeration supply chain.
Refrigera 2019 was founded following the request from companies, including producers, distributors, plant engineers and workers, designers, industry associations and political and economic institutions, who were seeking new opportunities within the sector.
In Italy, the field of Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration industry has an estimated turnover of more 10 bn EUR. Consequently, Italy has become a reference point for this industry, and professionals have developed the need for a dedicated exhibition. At Refrigera 2019, themes, contents and developments of this market will be discussed and presented, addressing current and upcoming challenges, such as regulations of refrigerant gases. Attendees will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the Italian role in this international context.
Refrigera will offer initiatives that are interesting for all visitors. In particular, the ‘Grand Prix del Frigorista’ – a real-life competition to award the best workers in this sector – as well as the ‘Award of Distribution’ – dedicated to wholesalers and distributors. Next to these awards, numerous workshops and events will be organised within the context of this exhibition.
Furthermore, a high focus will be put on (new) products available within the market: equipment, components and spare parts, compressors, refrigeration units, commercial refrigeration, controls and sensors, refrigerants, exchangers, sensors, valves, piping and fittings, training, safety, instruments.
