Stakeholder meeting

The revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) 2018/1844 requires the Commission to conclude a feasibility study, clarifying the possibilities and timeline to introduce the inspection of stand-alone ventilation systems and an optional building renovation passport before 2020. This study has just been launched.

Seville, 25 September 2018. The ‘Welcome Reception by the Eurovent President’ saw the official opening ceremony of the 2018 Eurovent Summit in Seville, Spain. Through a ribbon-cutting session, the Eurovent President Naci Şahin, the organisers and the representatives of Summit supporters have welcomed close to 500 high-ranking guests from Spain, Europe and beyond to Eurovent’s biennial flagship event. The Eurovent Association has announced its programme for the second edition of the Eurovent Innovation/HUB, the flagship event of the 2018 Eurovent Summit, powered by ebm-papst. The event, which is going to take place on the evening of 26 September in Seville, Spain, will welcome high-ranking speakers from Europe and the US to present in a unique manner.

The 2018 edition of Europe’s major gathering for key decision-makers in the area of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies is going to take place from 25 to 28 September in Seville, Spain. It connects close to 500 industry leaders from Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and international markets throughout around 40 seminars, meetings, and events. The EUROVENTSUMMIT again offers a unique side programme and experiences that go beyond the usual conference experience.

The number of data centres and the associated energy consumption and related environmental impacts continue to increase. Green Public Procurement is expected to ease the burden on energy and environmental resources and would complement the EU Code of conduct for data centres. 28 persons participated in the first meeting. The preliminary findings are outlined below.

The European Commission has launched a review study of the regulation on Ecodesign and Labelling requirements for air conditioners and comfort fans. The study covers the review of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 206/2012 and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 626/2011. The draft interim report (task 1-2) has been published on 13 June 2017, it will serve as the background document for the upcoming stakeholder meeting on 5 July 2017. The Eurovent Team has summarised the review study’s objectives and will attend this stakeholder meeting.
