Dubai, 20 April 2021. Eurovent Middle East, the region’s HVACR industry association, has become a member of the Cool Coalition, a global initiative led by UN Environment and the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Programme. The initiative promotes a holistic and cross-sectoral approach to meet the cooling needs of both industrialised and developing countries through better building design, energy efficiency, renewables, and thermal storage as well as phasing down refrigerants with a high global warming potential.

Representatives of ISKID (Turkey’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) and Eurovent signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT. They announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies will take place in Antalya, Turkey, from 22 to 25 September 2020.

The Eurovent Association has announced its programme for the second edition of the Eurovent Innovation/HUB, the flagship event of the 2018 Eurovent Summit, powered by ebm-papst. The event, which is going to take place on the evening of 26 September in Seville, Spain, will welcome high-ranking speakers from Europe and the US to present in a unique manner.

It connects close to 500 industry leaders from Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and international markets throughout around 40 seminars, meetings, and events. The EUROVENTSUMMIT again offers a unique side programme and experiences that go beyond the usual conference experience.

Eurovent Middle East has announced the next event within its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ series, which is going to focus on Evaporative Cooling and takes place within the parallel programme of The Big 5 Dubai exhibition on 28 November 2017 (14-18:00h). The workshop is being organised in close cooperation with the EU-GCC Trade and Business Cooperation Facility and DMG Events. The association’s non-commercial, free-of-charge seminar will see leading experts in this field outlining ways to save resources by going evaporative.

Close to 100 people have attended Eurovent Middle East’s second ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ at the Le Meridien Dubai Airport hotel, which put a focus on Commercial Refrigeration. Together with the participants, leading experts from the UAE and Europe have elaborated on how to achieve a higher food safety and cost savings through state-of-the-art refrigeration technologies.
