The Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) and Eurovent signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the 5 Years Anniversary Congress of Eurovent’s Middle East chapter. As a crucial part of a cooling and ventilation system, Air Handling Units can be built to a multitude of customer specifications and operating environments. Since January 2022, Eurovent has mandated its certified manufacturers to disclose the energy ratings for hot and humid climates when the products are sold in such environments.

From 2 to 5 October 2019, the Eurovent Association, Eurovent Middle East, and Eurovent Certita Certification are going to be at ISK-SODEX 2019 – one of the largest international exhibitions for HVACR, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Water Treatment, and Insulation. Representatives of ISKID (Turkey’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) and Eurovent signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT. They announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies will take place in Antalya, Turkey, from 22 to 25 September 2020.

The HVACR sector, an industry of significant value to the Turkish economy, will again come together at ISK-SODEX between 2 and 5 October 2019 in Istanbul. The exhibition aims to facilitate new commercial cooperation opportunities between Turkish manufacturers and delegations from the European Union, Africa, and South America. Eurovent is an official supporter of the event.
Morten Schmelzer, Executive Director of Eurovent, leaves the association effective as of 1 June 2019 after 6 successful years of serving Europe’s HVACR industry. He is going to join a member company while further developing his own IT business. Stijn Renneboog, who has recently joined the organisation, and Andrea Gasparova are going to take over the majority of Morten’s tasks.
