Riyadh, 19 November 2024. Eurovent Middle East joins hands with AMCA International in organising the second Middle East Industry Congress titled HVACR Next Generation. The event, set to take place on 29 April 2025 in Riyadh, will focus on sustainability in extreme conditions.

Sustainability, energy efficiency, the pending refrigerant transition as well as Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) are among the most pressing issues of our times. In view of rising temperatures in a region which already faces extreme environmental conditions, the HVACR industry stands front and centre in the fight to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while providing affordable ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration solutions for the benefit of all. Regular exchange among the industry, and between industry and government is key to driving awareness and understanding for the needs and challenges, but also for the opportunities arising from the latest technical advancements.

The event follows the resounding success of its first edition in Dubai in 2022. The congress is once again supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and will gather high-level government representatives and industry executives from within the region.

Mr Andrea Cavalet, President of Eurovent Middle East, highlights: “The 2nd ‘HVACR Next Generation’ congress will gather high-level representatives from government, industry, and other stakeholders to discuss and showcase the latest developments set to shape a sustainable pathway into the future of cooling. The event will set a new benchmark in addressing the most essential issues we are confronted with to achieve the region’s sustainability targets.”

Mr Ed Rizk, President of AMCA International, added: “We strongly believe that attending this conference will provide all our members, Government, Building and HVACR Industry Executives, Investors, Developers, Planners, Consultants and Academia with an opportunity to gain insights and learn from the best in the field, while providing opportunities to network with other professionals who are passionate about HVACR and sustainability.”

Eurovent Middle East in cooperation with AMCA International invites all relevant stakeholders to join:
