Webinar on Retrofits for Supermarkets

01 November 2020

2 min read

Dubai, 01 November 2020. Eurovent Middle East has announced the next webinar within its HVACR Leadership Workshops series, focusing on technologies best suited to retrofitting in supermarkets in order to reduce energy consumption. Commercial refrigeration systems account for about 40-60% of the electricity consumption in supermarkets according to various studies in the market. Purchase of new, high-efficiency refrigeration equipment has cost implications, which is why targeted retrofits or upgrades to existing systems can be the most cost-effective and practical strategy for many food retailers, supermarket owners and chains.

Taking place on 11 November 2020, industry experts will elaborate on technologies best suited for retrofits in supermarkets to improve energy savings while reducing costs.

Webinar topics include:

  • Energy efficiency in supermarkets: An overview of retrofit options
  • Optimising energy efficiency by adding variable speed to compressor racks
  • Efficiency and reliability for supermarket retrofits using DC technology
  • Energy efficiency of air curtains in supermarkets and cold rooms
  • Savings from the air: Retrofitting fans in supermarkets
  • Smart stores for energy efficiency

Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and dedicated Q&A session, where participants are invited to discuss any issues related to the topics.
