Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC) has released an updated website available at www.eurovent-certification.com. The new website was designed to provide a better user experience to a wider audience (consultants, technical design offices, architects, and end-users) with a quick and easy access to certified data.

In order to help manufacturers gain certainty, Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI) will publish a report analysing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the European HVACR industry at the end of September. The report will include results of a recently launched EMI survey targeting HVACR product manufacturers. The survey runs until 11 September 2020. Interested manufacturers are encouraged to participate.

As part of the World Refrigeration Day campaign, Eurovent Middle East is hosting a webinar dedicated to human resources in the HVACR industry. The webinar is organised in cooperation with Careersbay.com and Climate Control Middle East and will be hosted in a live panel discussion format. It will take place on Thursday, 24 June 2021 from 11:00-12:30h (GST) and will feature experts from the HVACR industry and recruitment sectors.

From smartphones to cars, many everyday items that society depend on are, in turn, reliant on semiconductor chips. The chip serves as the brain within an electric device responsible for its function. However, there has been a global shortage caused by the high demand of electronic devices during the pandemic. Eurovent Middle East, the region’s industry association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, will host an expert’s meet & greet on Monday, 20 February 2023 at the Radisson in Riyadh. Set alongside the HVAC&R Expo Saudi, the event will feature expert presentations on minimum requirements for Air Handling Units and Air Filtration, recommendations for the selection of the best equipment and critical aspects of providing a safe air environment to hospitals and operating theatres.

Eurovent Middle East has announced the next event forming part of its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ series, which will focus on specifying Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and takes place at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 11 September 2019 from 18:00 to 21:00h. The non-commercial, free-of-charge seminar will see leading industry experts in this field elaborate on key technologies and specifications to reduce energy consumption in existing and future buildings.

Eurovent Middle East has just announced a flagship workshop on Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF). The free-of-charge event forms part of the association’s ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ series. The workshop will take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 19 September 2018 at 18:00h and includes a networking dinner. Mr Bibin Thomas of Adel Electronics will share important aspects of best practices for VRF installation.
