Dubai, 7 March 2018. The Eurovent Middle East association has announced the next edition of its free-of-charge ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’, which is going to take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 26 March 2018. This time, leading air filtration experts from the UAE and Europe are going to elaborate on state-of-the-art air filtration, its effects on Indoor Air Quality and health. As a special guest, one of Europe’s leading filtration experts is going to provide a keynote presentation.
During the ‘Air Filtration and IAQ’ workshop, specific attention is given to the following topics:
- Fundamentals of air filtration and indoor air quality
- How to select ISO 16890 rated air filters for general ventilation
- Indoor Air Quality involvement in operating theatres
- The Eurovent Certified Performance (ECP) certification programme for air filters
With Mr Tobias Zimmer, Eurovent Middle East is welcoming one of Europe’s leading filtration experts to Dubai to provide a keynote presentation. Mr Zimmer is Global Product Manager Comfort at Camfil, Member of ISO/TC 142, and active participant to the Eurovent Product Group “Air Filters”. He has also contributed to the development of the new ISO 16890 global air filtration standard. Mr Zimmer is going to specifically focus on the new Eurovent 4/23 industry standard on how to select ISO 16890 rated air filters for general ventilation.

‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ is a seminar series by Eurovent Middle East, tailor-made for engineering and MEP consultants, investors and planners in the UAE, with the core aim of informing them about standards and industry recommendations in the field of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
