This Guide appears one year after the publication of the Commission Notice updating the “Blue Guide” on the implementation of EU product rules. On 457 pages, this Guide provides explanations of the concepts and requirements of the Machinery Directive to ensure uniform interpretation and application in the EU. At present, the new guide is available in English only. Translation into the other EU languages is expected.

For the third year in a row, the Eurovent Association, in cooperation with Eurovent Middle East, is ‘Supporting Association’ for the HVACR Expo Saudi (14-16 January 2018, Jeddah). The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) recognised that there is, notwithstanding declarations by politicians, no real model to develop a decarbonised energy system for the European Union by 2050.
