In an interview with Systemair, Sylvain Courtey, President of Eurovent Certita Certification, discusses what makes a Eurovent-certified HAHU stand out from other programmes and why hygienic features should be a standard offering for air handling units in all types of applications, particularly in countries in the Middle East.
Systemair experts discuss the publication of the highly popular Eurovent Recommendation 6/18 - 2022: Quality criteria for Air Handling Units, whom it was designed for and why consultants should reference it in future projects.
Eurovent Middle East successfully completed the first course of its recently introduced HVACR Leadership Academy. 160 registrants from 28 countries had initially signed up for the Air Handling Units (AHU) Specialisation course, comprising 9 online modules. Around 60 attendees qualified for the course certificate, with more to follow over the course of the coming weeks.
As part of its core responsibilities, Eurovent Middle East aims to share information on available technology with the region’s market participants. The launch of a dedicated Cooling Tower Guidebook is the latest step in creating awareness and providing a comprehensive overview on a highly energy efficient cooling technology. The association also extends invitation to a physical workshop on evaporative cooling in Dubai.
In view of the projected growth of ventilation solutions as a result of COVID-19, Eurovent Middle East looks at the importance of implementing a regulatory framework to ensure solutions and practices in the region lead to better indoor air quality (IAQ) that will protect building inhabitants in the years to come.
From 2 to 5 October 2019, the Eurovent Association, Eurovent Middle East, and Eurovent Certita Certification are going to be at ISK-SODEX 2019 – one of the largest international exhibitions for HVACR, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Water Treatment, and Insulation. Eurovent will be at your disposal for requests concerning legislation, standardisation, certification, and general industry developments.
Representatives of ISKID (Turkey’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) and Eurovent signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT. They announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies will take place in Antalya, Turkey, from 22 to 25 September 2020.
