Next edition of Europe’s HVACR flagship event to take place from 12 to 15 October 2021

Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the organisers of the EUROVENTSUMMIT have announced the postponement of its upcoming edition to 2021. Initially scheduled for September 2020, it will now take place from 12 to 15 October 2021 in Antalya, Turkey.

European HVACR industry shares EU ambition to decarbonise by 2050

Last Wednesday, 11 December, the European Commission presented the European Green Deal, an ambitious package of policy measures geared towards making Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. With bold investments in green technologies, boosts to innovation, and support for climate friendly industries, the policy package offers new growth perspectives for businesses in the European HVACR sector, and the potential to bolster the position of our industry as global leaders in clean and sustainable products.

The European evaporative cooling industry is ready to face the challenges of 2030

As outcome of the two-year Special Project ‘Evaporative Cooling 2030’, the Eurovent Association has published a set of documents including a new Eurovent Recommendation and a dedicated flyer, providing a clear overview of what the evaporative cooling industry saves in terms of CO2 emissions today and what it can save tomorrow. These documents are complemented by the first-ever European evaporative cooling industry monograph providing a clear indication on its size and scope.

As you may already know, the Eurovent Association is switching to a new membership structure as of 1 January 2020. After this date, manufacturer participation in working groups and access to the Extranet will be reserved for contributing members only (i.e. Corresponding Members). From 2 to 5 October 2019, the Eurovent Association, Eurovent Middle East, and Eurovent Certita Certification are going to be at ISK-SODEX 2019 – one of the largest international exhibitions for HVACR, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Water Treatment, and Insulation. Eurovent will be at your disposal for requests concerning legislation, standardisation, certification, and general industry developments.

While focusing on expanding the industry to new markets, ISK-SODEX 2019 offers a rich variety of supporting activities

With more than 2bn EUR in exports, the air conditioning industry continues to add value to the Turkish economy. The industry will soon come together at the 14th ISK-SODEX, also known as the International Exhibition for HVACR, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Fire Prevention, Water Treatment and Insulation. It will bring together purchasing committees from the EU, Africa, and South America, with Turkish manufacturers to form new partnerships.

Next edition of Europe’s HVACR flagship event to take place in Antalya, Turkey

Representatives of ISKID (Turkey’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) and Eurovent signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT. They announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies will take place in Antalya, Turkey, from 22 to 25 September 2020.

Association’s position a response to continued lack of meaningful EU regulatory requirements on IAQ after recast EPBD

The Eurovent Association has developed a plain and concise Position Paper recommending the European Commission to introduce limits on the particulate matter concentration in the supply air of ventilation systems and to develop a comprehensive approach to PM in indoor air itself. The Position Paper reflects the industry’s support for regulatory requirements that level the playing field and foster recognition of the importance of adequate ventilation for the health and well-being of building occupants.
