Second edition of ‘HVACR Leadership Series’ in Dubai saw high-ranking experts sharing their knowledge in this sector

Close to 100 people have attended Eurovent Middle East’s second ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ at the Le Meridien Dubai Airport hotel, which put a focus on Commercial Refrigeration. Together with the participants, leading experts from the UAE and Europe have elaborated on how to achieve a higher food safety and cost savings through state-of-the-art refrigeration technologies. 

Eurovent Middle East to continue its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ with a seminar focussed on Commercial Refrigeration

Eurovent Middle East has announced the next event within its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ series, which is going to focus on Commercial Refrigeration and takes place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 30 October 2017 from 18-21h. The association’s non-commercial, free-of-charge seminar will see leading experts in this field outlining ways to achieve a higher food safety and cost savings through state-of-the-art refrigeration technologies. 

Launch event of the association’s ‘HVACR Consultant Leadership Workshops’ saw unprecedented participation levels

Dubai, Al Garhoud. On Monday, 25 September 2017, the launch event of Eurovent Middle East’s ‘HVACR Consultant Leadership Workshops’ took place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Center. The first workshop was tailor-made for local engineering and MEP consultants in the UAE and saw 232 people of the regional HVACR community and Dubai authorities participating.

Dubai, 27 August 2017. Eurovent Middle East has announced its new, free-of-charge seminar series ‘HVACR Consultant Leadership Workshops’. The official launch event is going to take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Center on 25 September 2017. It is tailor-made for local engineering and MEP consultants in the UAE with the core aim of informing them about standards and industry recommendations in the field of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.

Next edition of Europe’s HVACR flagship event to take place in Seville, Spain

Madrid, 26 June 2017. During a dedicated meeting in Madrid, representatives of AEFYT (Spanish Association for Refrigeration Technology), AFEC (Spanish Association for Manufacturers of Air Conditioning Equipment) and the Eurovent Association have signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2018 Eurovent Summit. It was announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies is going to take place in Seville, Spain, from 25 to 28 September.

Naci Sahin to support Rasmussen as First Vice-President

Versailles, 19 May 2017. During their 60th Annual Meeting in Versailles, France, members of the Eurovent Association from more than 20 countries have unanimously confirmed the presidency of Alex Rasmussen, who is going to serve Europe’s Industry Association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies for an additional year. Rasmussen has been leading the Eurovent Association since May 2015 on a mandate of the Danish Ventilation association.

Francesco Scuderi becomes Deputy Secretary General

Versailles, 19 May 2017. During the 60th Annual Meeting of the Eurovent Association in Versailles, France, Francesco Scuderi (Italian, born 1981) has been assigned Deputy Secretary General of Europe’s Industry Association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies. Scuderi’s assignment is immediately effective and initiates a further generation change within Europe’s leading HVACR sector association. In the upcoming years, the Electrical Engineer is gradually taking over responsibilities of the ongoing Secretary General Felix Van Eyken.

The Systemair Managing Director looks back at 30+ years of experience in the region

Dubai, 22 January 2017. During a General Meeting at The H Hotel in Dubai, UAE, the first-ever chairmanship elections of Eurovent Middle East took place. The issue group’s more than 25 member companies have elected Mr Brian Suggitt (Managing Director Middle East, Systemair AB) as their Chairman. With Michel Farah (Director Corporate Environmental and Social Responsibility, Daikin Middle East and Afrika FZE), Georges Hoeterickx (Director Business Development, Evapco Europe BVBA) and Matthias Kasprowicz (Managing Director, TROX Middle East llc), Suggitt is going to be supported by three highly experienced Vice-Chairmen.

Initiative receives backing and support of a wide range of major industry players

Brussels, 30 October 2016. Today, the Eurovent association has announced the launch of its Eurovent Middle East issue group. The latter will act as the representative of Eurovent members based in/or active in the Middle East region. Founding members constitute more than 15 manufacturers and related organisations that are going to jointly undertake advocacy, marketing, and trade-related activities throughout the region. Mr Markus Lattner has been assigned Director of the initiative.
