Monthly overview for members on recent developments

On a monthly basis, the Eurovent Team compiles a global overview of the latest developments concerning new standardisation activities and technical regulations of relevance for the HVACR industry. Our Notifications allow members to be prepared for developments that can have an impact on them and their products.

This year’s edition of the exhibition is going to focus on diversification of export markets

The HVACR sector, an industry of significant value to the Turkish economy, will again come together at ISK-SODEX between 2 and 5 October 2019 in Istanbul. The exhibition aims to facilitate new commercial cooperation opportunities between Turkish manufacturers and delegations from the European Union, Africa, and South America. Eurovent is an official supporter of the event.

Cooling, refrigeration, chilling, freezing, cold chain

The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) have developed common definitions for these five terms. IIR has endorsed them in February 2019, and its dissemination should lead to a universal adoption.  In Europe, the new definitions should affect policy documents.
