Eurovent Middle East announces that Honeywell has become the latest addition to a growing group of industry players that are coming together to support in the transition to more sustainable technologies in the Middle East. This signifies the growing importance of collaboration among industry organisations to promote progress.

The region’s industry association welcomes the newest Corresponding Member

Aeroseal, an American pioneer in duct sealing technology, has joined the growing family of Eurovent Middle East, aiming to increase awareness of the importance of ductwork for energy efficiency and Indoor Air Quality. Amidst minimum energy requirements for electrical HVAC equipment, the role of tight, easy to clean and maintain air ducts often gets ignored, while its impact on energy efficiency and IAQ is critical.

Eurovent India invites senior consultants and key industry stakeholders to an expert workshop on energy efficient IAQ solutions. It will take place on 12 April 2023, 16:00-21:00h in New Delhi and will conclude with a networking dinner.

Eurovent Middle East, the region’s industry association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, will host an expert’s meet & greet on Monday, 20 February 2023 at the Radisson in Riyadh. Set alongside the HVAC&R Expo Saudi, the event will feature expert presentations on minimum requirements for Air Handling Units and Air Filtration, recommendations for the selection of the best equipment and critical aspects of providing a safe air environment to hospitals and operating theatres.

The move underlines the association’s successful development over the past years and its commitment to provide neutral and unbiased expertise to the market.

The partnership intends to enhance cooperation on standardisation and capacity building

The Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) and Eurovent signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the 5 Years Anniversary Congress of Eurovent’s Middle East chapter. The partnership will bring closer cooperation on standardisation and capacity building and facilitate exchange of expertise between the two organisations.

German lighting specialist for critical environments adds to growing number of members

SCHUCH, a world-renowned expert in technical luminaires, has joined the growing family of Eurovent Middle East. While not directly connected to the association’s core focus of HVACR, SCHUCH appreciates its network related to building management and to especially critical indoor environments which require special solutions for lighting. In surroundings exposed to dust and various gases ventilation, air filtration and lighting play a crucial and correlated role.

Association invites government and industry executives to its 5 years anniversary congress

Eurovent Middle East, the region’s Industry Association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration has announced its 5 years anniversary congress titled ‘HVACR Next Generation: Rethinking policies and strategies’, which takes place on 13-14 September at the LeMeridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre. Government representatives, authorities and industry executives will exchange on the most pressing issues of the industry and discuss policies and strategies for the next decade.

Joint event of Eurovent, Eurovent Middle East and Eurovent Certita Certification

The Association invites to a webinar to discuss the energy efficiency of Air Handling Units in hot and humid conditions. As a crucial part of a cooling and ventilation system, Air Handling Units can be built to a multitude of customer specifications and operating environments. Since January 2022, Eurovent has mandated its certified manufacturers to disclose the energy ratings for hot and humid climates when the products are sold in such environments.

Tariq Al Ghussein re-elected as President

During its Annual Meeting on 22 March 2022, members of the Association of the Region’s Leading HVACR manufacturers re-elected Mr Tariq Al Ghussein (CEO, Taqeef), as President, supported by Mr Rafael Van Eijcken (General Manager, Baltimore Aircoil) as Vice-President. Eurovent Middle East showed strong resilience during the pandemic years, which also manifested in the attendance of 40 representatives from its members, the highest number yet for an Annual Meeting.
