Eurovent Middle East kicks off the new year with its first ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ focusing on reducing the energy bill in the food cold chain

Eurovent Middle East has announced the next event within its ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’ series, which is going to focus on cost savings within the food cold chain and takes place at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 28 January 2019 from 18:00 to 21:00h. The non-commercial, free-of-charge seminar will see leading industry experts in this field elaborate on key technologies and strategies to reduce energy consumption in the food cold chain. 

Free energy labelling tool to support efficient choices in heating systems

Initiated in 2015 by ESTIF, the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation, and funded by the European Commission, an online tool for calculating solar devices using the SOLCAL method is under development. The test version allows users to try it out and provide feedback about the tool to the LabelPack A+ consortium. This consortium includes Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom, where national pilot projects have been developed. The main aim is to provide a tool to calculate the energy label heating packages containing various components, such as boilers, heat pumps, water heaters, storage tanks and solar panels.

Special guest to share critical aspects of best practices for VRF installations

Dubai, 5 September 2018. Eurovent Middle East has just announced a flagship workshop on Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF). The free-of-charge event forms part of the association’s ‘HVACR Leadership Workshop’ series. The workshop will take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 19 September 2018 at 18:00h and includes a networking dinner. Mr Bibin Thomas of Adel Electronics will share important aspects of best practices for VRF installation.

Seminar to explain how to select EN ISO 16890 rated air filter classes for general ventilation applications while making effective use of its Indoor Air Quality potential

On Tuesday, 23 January 2018 from 13:30-14:30h (Brussels time), the Eurovent Association is going to host a Webinar on its new Recommendation 4/23 (2017) on the “Selection of EN ISO 16890 rated air filter class for general ventilation applications”. All HVAC professionals dealing with ventilation systems are invited to join, independent from their Eurovent membership. After a general introduction, participants are invited to ask questions.
