Brussels, Seville, 16 May 2018. The registration portal and final programme of the EUROVENTSUMMIT are now online. The 2018 edition of Europe’s major gathering for key decision-makers in the area of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies is going to take place from 25 to 28 September in Seville, Spain. It connects close to 500 industry leaders from Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and international markets throughout around 40 seminars, meetings, and events. The EUROVENTSUMMIT again offers a unique side programme and experiences that go beyond the usual conference experience.

Dubai, 7 March 2018. The Eurovent Middle East association has announced the next edition of its free-of-charge ‘HVACR Leadership Workshops’, which is going to take place at LeMeridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 26 March 2018. This time, leading air filtration experts from the UAE and Europe are going to elaborate on state-of-the-art air filtration, its effects on Indoor Air Quality and health. As a special guest, one of Europe’s leading filtration experts is going to provide a keynote presentation.

From 13-16 March 2018, the 41st Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) is going to take place in Milan, Italy. Our Issue Group ‘Eurovent Middle East’ has made it to the final round of the European Association Excellence Awards 2018, which will be held in Brussels on 23 February 2018. As one of eight finalists for the ‘Most Innovative Development by an Association’ award, Eurovent Middle East has already gained further high-profile recognition and hopes to promote their cause even more.

The exhibition ISK-SODEX Istanbul 2018 has confirmed that its Buyer Delegation Programme received the support of the Turkish Ministry of Economy and is going to be organised by the Turkish HVAC&R Exporters' Union (ISIB). In 2016, many Eurovent members made use of this opportunity and the various benefits offered.

Istanbul, 9 January 2018. ISK-SODEX, one of the largest HVACR exhibitions in the Eurasian region, will bring together national and international brands in Turkey. For the third year in a row, the Eurovent Association, in cooperation with Eurovent Middle East, is ‘Supporting Association’ for the HVACR Expo Saudi (14-16 January 2018, Jeddah). To further strengthen the presence of our members in Saudi Arabia, we are offering a wide-ranging programme in the course of the exhibition, including, for the first time, a dedicated Eurovent Pavillion.

The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) recognised that there is, notwithstanding declarations by politicians, no real model to develop a decarbonised energy system for the European Union by 2050. To address this issue, EHPA started an initiative called ‘DecarbHeat’, which would develop policy guidance, asking policy makers to define framework conditions that put a price on carbon.
