Eurovent Middle East successfully completed the first course of its recently introduced HVACR Leadership Academy. 160 registrants from 28 countries had initially signed up for the Air Handling Units (AHU) Specialisation course, comprising 9 online modules. Around 60 attendees qualified for the course certificate, with more to follow over the course of the coming weeks.
Eurovent Middle East, the region’s Industry Association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration has announced its 5 years anniversary congress titled ‘HVACR Next Generation: Rethinking policies and strategies’, which takes place on 13-14 September at the LeMeridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre. Government representatives, authorities and industry executives will exchange on the most pressing issues of the industry and discuss policies and strategies for the next decade.

From 2 to 5 October 2019, the Eurovent Association, Eurovent Middle East, and Eurovent Certita Certification are going to be at ISK-SODEX 2019 – one of the largest international exhibitions for HVACR, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Water Treatment, and Insulation. Representatives of ISKID (Turkey’s Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association) and Eurovent signed an agreement to jointly organise the 2020 EUROVENTSUMMIT. They announced that the next edition of Europe’s major gathering for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies will take place in Antalya, Turkey, from 22 to 25 September 2020.

Abu Dhabi, Dubai, 30 January 2019. The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) and Eurovent Middle East have announced the formation of a joint working group to develop Conformity Assessment Schemes for Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units. The association of the region’s leading HVACR manufacturers will encourage organisation and coordination of industry stakeholders and is calling on interested manufacturers to join the working group.
