The European Commission will establish a High-Level Forum on European Standardisation, bringing together Member States, standardisation bodies, industry, SMEs, civil society and academia to help set priorities, advise on standardisation needs, and boost EU competitiveness.

The Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) and Eurovent signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the 5 Years Anniversary Congress of Eurovent’s Middle East chapter. The partnership will bring closer cooperation on standardisation and capacity building and facilitate exchange of expertise between the two organisations.

Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC) has released an updated website available at www.eurovent-certification.com. The new website was designed to provide a better user experience to a wider audience (consultants, technical design offices, architects, and end-users) with a quick and easy access to certified data.

The recent Expert Webinar hosted by the Eurovent Association, presented an overview on the recommendations by the industry to bridge the gap between regulatory requirements of the new Ecodesign and Energy Labelling measures while taking into consideration market conditions and realities in Europe.

The Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Handling Units’ (PG-AHU) has published the first edition of Eurovent Recommendation 6/15 - Air Leakages in Air Handling Units. The Recommendation presents guidelines for improving Indoor Air Quality and correcting the performance of Air Handling Units due to internal leakages.

Your feedback matters to us. The Eurovent Team is continuously working on improving the Eurovent website. The newest change is the long awaited simplification of the Document Web Shop. Newly called ‘Document Library’, the publications section on the Eurovent website now allows users to download each Eurovent publication in one click.

The Eurovent Team continuously receives and applies feedback from its members to further develop and improve the services related to our online portal. The Eurovent Extranet has recently gained a new feature, which allows members to download the Eurovent meetings directly into their personal calendar.

Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the organisers of the EUROVENTSUMMIT have announced the postponement of its upcoming edition to 2021. Initially scheduled for September 2020, it will now take place from 12 to 15 October 2021 in Antalya, Turkey.
